Major Trend In Weddings: Yellow Is In!!!

This is so exciting that yellow is in!  I'm so excited for brides because I know they will save tons when it comes to designing their wedding.  Yellow works so well in lower cost venues such as farms and other rustic outdoor locations.  Yellow flowers are so beautiful when mixed with pale yellow, grays, and/or cream colors.  In fact, there are many color combinations that can be used with yellow:

Most common: Yellow, gray, burlap, cream
Others:

• Yellow, light green, green, light blue, blue
• Yellow, turquoise, burlap
• Yellow, orange
• Yellow, orange, hot pink
• Yellow, purple (Yes they are opposite colors and great for summer!)
• Yellow, purple, plum and fuchsia
• Okay the list goes on and on!

I absolutely love lavender and yellow in weddings!  Burlap and lace theme goes with that as well!

Gerbera Daisy Arch Decor

I used to design wedding flowers for several years and LOVED it!  When it comes to gerbera daisies there are so many things that can be done with them when decorating.  If they are bought fresh the heads can be taken off and tied with pipe cleaners to tie up to arches and just about anything.  They can even be strung on burlap and hung in places.  Gerbera daisies can be tied to the cute wedding lights that are strung across many backyards.

Gerbera Daisy Bridesmaid Bouquet

Gerbera daisies are absolutely stunning when they are floated in a pond or water fountain.  Just take the stems off.  Below are pictures of some wedding bouquets I designed in the past.

For bridesmaid bouquets just a few gerbera daisies are needed and tied with green florist tape, and then tied around with ribbon that is pinned.  All of the items can be found at a local craft store.
